Fenomena serba baru sambut Hari Raya
Written by Muhammad Ismail
In a few days, the Muslim people will welcome the arrival of Eid al-Fitr as a symbol of victory over the fasting of Ramadan. For most of us, now is the busiest and busiest time to prepare for Hari Raya.

Every chef wants to make sure that everything is as new as possible in clothes, furniture, curtains, cars, etc.
In short, if you can, from head to toe, everyone wants to exchange with the new. In the last 10 nights, the mosques are full and many prayers should be offered, but let's look at the shopping malls. The main markets are full of Muslims every day for Hari Raya.
Housewives were also busy making raya crackers and measuring curtains. It's even more unfortunate if you want to exchange sofas, furniture that is current and still beautiful, as long as everything is new. Rumor goes
To improve rice husks, such as adding or buying unnecessary things.
Those who can use their "Pocket Power" and "Point Power" to buy anything to satisfy their shopping needs.
It is even more serious if one goes into debt, takes out a mortgage, and worst of all, wishes for Eid al-Fitr until Ahlong to ensure that the house and clothes are new.
There are also those who take Mudharban insurance. While it may seem easier to pay in installments, we can pay taxes in installments. Don't buy more than you can afford, measure your clothes according to your own size instead of following the measurements of your friends or neighbors.
This is when most advertisements play their part with various discounts to persuade users to buy.
There are also companies that offer benefits up front, pay later, this has fueled the public's desire to trade and many of us seem to be getting killed by this belief.
Not realizing that Ramadan actually teaches and teaches us to control our emotions, to eat and not just our thoughts, but to shop or really waste.
Ramadan teaches us to be careful and not waste in shopping. Maybe many people think that Hari Raya happens only once a year, so we have to buy something.
Islam does not encourage its people to indulgence and licentiousness but insists on simplicity.
We must understand that accepting Eid al-Fitr does not mean that everything has to change into something new. Instead of buying two clothes to wear, first buy Hari Raya different color clothes, second Hari Raya fashion, third Hari Raya more stylish etc.
Even the opening day clothes are bought in multiple pairs so that our friends know we have new clothes. Rasool (PBUH) encouraged his people to wear new and beautiful clothes on Hari Raya, but to the point of excess and obscenity.
This phenomenon of bartering has existed in most societies for a long time and we have unknowingly violated the pure moral values of Islam regarding wastefulness or over-purchasing. The meaning of the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala: "Those who destroy it are the brothers of Satan, and Satan is the most transgressive of the commandments of his Lord." (Surah Al-Isra 27).

This article clearly shows us that waste is something that we Muslims should avoid and leave behind.
As we face this blessed month, let us not forget the weak. We are encouraged to give alms because wealth and pleasure are not ours but the wealth of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Helping the poor is the duty of the rich.
The meaning of the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala: "(those who love Allah) who do not change their money much and do not spend much, are between the two (the spendthrifts and the narcissists)." (Suratul Furqan No. 67).
So make this Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr the beginning of change for each of you and keep away from immorality and greed. Take advantage of the rest of Ramadan to get the blessings and rewards of the Hereafter.
