Allah is great!! Death is inevitable. We just don't know time and time. If we die, why do most people die? His tongue was numb, stiff, and only his face held the "death-death" pain.
They have reported a hadith which means:
"You must remain silent when the prayer is called, otherwise Allah will twist his tongue when death is near."
This clearly shows that he advised us to be silent and say nothing while hearing the call to prayer. As Muslims we have a duty to obey the call to prayer, there are many faqilats. If our national anthem teaches us to stand up and be silent, why don't we be silent when we are called to prayer? Therefore, whoever speaks during the call to prayer, Allah will break his tongue while performing the prayer. When we are on the brink of death with our tongues, we are afraid not to utter the phrase "Lailahailah." What can one think of this sentence with unshakable faith (that there is no god but Allah) when Allah took his soul and promised them Paradise by His will.
So let's honor the call to prayer and ask Allah not to make this tongue numb when our lives are taken away.
“O Allah! Make our death a good and honorable death. Fix our tongues saying 'Lailahilah' when death approaches us...Amen...Amen...Amen
